Discussion UPDATE OF THE INTEGRATED NATIONAL ENERGY AND CLIMATE PLAN

The Slovak Republic is obliged to submit to the European Commission a draft update of the Integrated National and Climate Plan by June 30, 2023 and subsequently the update itself by June 30, 2024. The current version of the plan no longer takes into account new initiatives submitted or approved at EU and national level.

The agenda is covered by the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic in coordination with the Ministry of Environment of the Slovak Republic. Last year, the Ministry of Economy invited the public to participate in the process by sending suggestions for revising and supplementing current policies and measures that are part of the current Integrated National and Climate Plan.

The ENERGOKLUB platform in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic organized a public discussion on the update of the plan for 2021 and 2032 on April 25, 2023.
