n November the 14th international conference INFORMATICS 2017 took place in Poprad. The PhD student from the Faculty of Informatics and Information Technologies, Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava Marek Lóderer presented his paper titled

He introduced power load forecasting with ensemble model. The final forecast was calculated as a weighted sum of individual models. The weights were determined by biologically inspired optimization algorithms. The research was implemented with the support of ITMS 26240120039 project.
