Publication in Acta Polytechnica Hungarica journal

Team from Faculty of Informatics and Information Technologies at Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava successfully submited a paper, which was accepted by a Hungarian international scientific journal of Óbuda University, Hungarian Academy of Engineering and IEEE Hungary Section - Acta Polytechnica Hungarica (the highest category of publication according to the criteria of Slovak Accreditation Commission). The paper titled

Incremental Ensemble Learning for Electricity Load Forecasting

presents one of the power demand forecasting methods that are researched at the faculty. The forecast is constructed by a combination of several prediction models that are based on regression, time series analysis and artificial intelligence. The promising results of the method are a springboard for further improvements and research of new power demand forecasting methods.
